What's your favorite combo now?

For all out detail:



1. Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo

2. Pinnacle Poly-Clay w/ lubricant

3. Poorboys SSR3 (heavy duty compound) for bad stuff or Clearkote Blue Moose (seems to have even more bite than SSR3). If they aren't that bad, then DACP

4. Poorboys SSR2/1 combo

5. Clearkote VM

6. Poorboys EX x 3

7. Pinnacle Souveran or Clearkote Carnauba

8. Occasionally I will top with Megs. Show Car Glaze

In between- Pinnacle Crystal Mist/ Eiman Fabrik Clear Pearl and Clearkote Quikshine



Once a year, I use Klasse AIO because that stuff rocks, but takes off a hell of a lot of paint from my non-clearcoated car.
 
zaino. I fooled around with z topped with glaze and s100, but determined that i was getting a slicker, but cloudy finish. I'll take the shiny (slightly less smooth) finish of just Zaino
 
I'm still with Klasse SG and P21S.



I need to try the stuff SonnyDaze gave me. I planned on doing it Friday but it rained. I might have time Tuesday this week to do it.
 
DACP or Swirl Free when needed, then:



Vanilla Moose or Final Polish (VM for regulars, FP for cars I don't see often and need the longer protection of a polymer).

S100 or Clearkote's new carnuba (when I can get some more!).
 
3M MG, Vanilla Moose, P-35-H Satin Creme.





I think Satin Creme is one of the best waxes to use :xyxthumbs.
 
VM+EX. I just did this combo on my dad's dark red 2K 'Vette and damned if it doesn't look better than the 10+ layers of Zaino that were on there before. The second coat of EX is drying as I type this. :up

I just finished doing my Supercrew a little while ago and here's what I did today and I must admit it looks GREAT. Wish I had a digital camera to share. Here's what it got today:



QD with Poorboy's Spray and Wash( I washed with Pinnacle Yesterday morning)

Clayed with Mothers Clay and Mothers QD

PPCL

A few spots got SSR2.

Menz Final Polish

AIO

Topped with one coat of EX so far.



Plan on adding another coat of EX then topping with either Souvern or Collinite.



And by the way, I did it ALL by hand. and are my arms and shoulders sore, well on second thought make that most of my body.
 
Some GIN and a little bit of Tonic maybe a lime once in a while......
