What's your APC and MF wash of choice

I'm finally almost out of my gallon jugs of APC. Been using the Meg *apc* - blue colored variant forever.



Been looking to add a MF wash as well.



In past threads, there seems to be some +++ reviews of the CG MF wash over Micro Restore. Any long term CG MF wash users in here ? Love to hear some long term feedback.





On the APC.....so many to choose from out there.

Meguiars, CG, Optimum, Einszett Blitz, Duragloss APC, Amazing Roll Off....etc.etc..
 
I use Meg's APC with excellent results.



I've also used MF Restore and I've been less than impressed. It doesn't seem to make any difference in softness/cleanliness over standard detergent.
 
anyone object to just filling a sink with warm water, a dash of woolite and hand washing? I double rinse with cold water, wring and then rinse again, and either tumble on low (with nothing but MF) or hang to dry.



note:my NICEST towels are OTC VIkings from Kmart...course I would match them up to just about anything.
 
i use megs APC/APC+ and liquid tide. when my current batch of APC runs out, i am going to try the new optimum APC (haven't been let down by any of their other products)...

agreed, they are every bit as nice/good as the boutique towels...
 
I still have a gallon of Megs APC+. But after that I may give Duragloss's 403 APC a go, a gallon size is 15.99. I can't see paying 30+ for an APC like the Optimum gallon.
 
I ended up with the 1Z Blitz APC. Have not used it yet...but it smells great.

Leaning on the CG MF Wash, but have yet to order that.
 
If I recall...the orange smells much better than the blue one. It's taken me awhile to get through the jugs I had of the blue ;-)

Yeah the blue didn't smell great. But how is the cleaning power in comparison do you know? Are you trying the Blitz just to change it up? It seems rather pricey.
 
Yes, on the Blitz just to ~switch things up~. It's semi concentrated.....my dilute rates instead if 1:4 an 1:9/1:10 will be 1:10 for wheels, and plan on trying 1:32 and 1:20 as other mixes. Can't comment on the smell right now but when I took a test whiff.....it was worlds beyond the familiar Blue Meg APC......



Debated between Amazing Roll Off and also 2 variations of CG APC as well.
 
I like to think that a great APC is one that can be mixed to clean the nastiest dirt/grime (like oil caked engine compartment) and at the same time diluted to clean the gentlest of surfaces. Plus, what makes it even better, would be a low cost.
