What's the difference between Meg's #20 and Gold Class wax?

Aren't they both synthetic, or does the Gold Class have some carnauba? Which one lasts longer and, more importantly :) , which one gives a better shine?

Meguiars #20 gives more durability and a nice shine, geared toward professionals (Mirror glaze, or body shop line?)

The Gold Class was is for consumers and is a polymer/carnauba blend. Its terrible in durability, but shines ok though. A cleaner/wax type product.

#20 cleans to but lays down a durable polymer sealant on the surface.

If I had the choice between Gold Class Wax, or #20, I'll go for the #20, but would top off #20 with Blitz, Souveran or #26.

If you want a tin of #26 (paste) or GC wax (paste), PM for details.

I agree with Jason. #20 lasts a lot longer than Gold Class and shines just as well, IMO. I would use #20 then top it with #26. Polymer protection with carnuba shine.

If a product is working for you and gives you the results that you want then good for you. However, there's just something about a Gold Class shine that is not too appealing to me. It looks a bit too fake for my tastes and darkens the paint quite a bit. The problem is that it doesn't do it the way Klasse does. The Gold Class product seems to make it slightly more yellow as well. Not a good look for me. Laters
