whats the best?

I'm not sure if this answers your question effectively, but I've heard Collinite's #845 Insulator wax works well with dark colored cars. I tried it on a black BMW the other day and I was thoroughly impressed. It looked dripping wet in the sun! In fact, it looked the best when it was in the sun.



Before the wax, we used Poor Boy's SSR2.5, then SSR1.
 
The most versatile polisher to use, which also happens to be the most popular polisher used by the community, is the Porter Cable DA.
