What's more important to final look, wax/sealant or QD

Let's say you have the same car. Fully prepped the same way. Half you do with a good looking wax or sealant, let's say something like Fuzion. The other half you do with something durable but not a look wax, like 476s. Except, you only top the 476s side with a good looking QD.

Which side will look better?

Which side will look better after the first wash, second wash, 2nd month, 3rd month, if only that one side gets a QD after the wash, while the other side remains bare?

I'm trying to gauge here if QD makes more of a difference to final look or the actual LSP, especially after it's been through it's first wash or more.

I think your argument is flawed. Using a QD is going to improve the look for a short time. Some QD's will improve the longevity of your LSP, while others may degrade it (perhaps just from the extra "rubbing").

Which side will look better after each wash? Well the QD side, of course, if you apply the QD right after each wash. Which side will look better a week later just before the next wash? You probably won't be able to tell the difference. The purpose of the QD is to provide a short-term improvement.

EDIT: Of course if your LSP is Zaino and your "QD" is Z8, I think the QD side will last just about forever and ultimately you will see some difference. I haven't used Z8 on top of anything but Zaino, but some people say that AW is just as good, which I haven't found to be the case. But those are spray sealants, not QD's.

Alot of times, on solid colors, I prefer the look of a non-LSP'd, highly polished finish instead of topping it. I rely on LSP to protect, not improve so much. On a metallic finish, I love using a LSP because it magnify the effect of the metallic.

Ya'll should try turtle wax Ice. Very very clear product.

The answer to this, of course is that the side with QD or spray wax applied will look nicer, but that QD fades rather quickly. Some QD's tend towards being spray waxes, which alters the picture somewhat. If so, then very frequent use of the QD will gradually build and keep rebuilding a wax layer.

So, is that good or bad? I QD everday and I don't have build up cause my QD does not contain waxes. I've not seen a spray wax or sealant that recommends you use it as a QD. Spray waxes and sealants should always be applied to a clean surface. Whereas a QD can be used on a slightly dusty surface.

There are the mother's Spray Waxes (FX/Reflections), which can be used as a QD. Lucas Slick Mist would be another example.

If a QD contains light silicones/mineral oils in dilute form then you won't get build up since the action of the QD is to redissolve and rebuild the silicone coating, and the light silicones/oils tend to be constantly evaporating off of the paint anyways.
