What's best to use with UPP?

I heard many good things about UPP (slickness, durability, etc) so I thought I would try it. Not to mention it was free, see Good Deals;)



Well I currently use VM + EX + Natty's on my black vehicles. How could I incorporate UPP into this mix? PC or hand?



I also have 1Z PP, and NXT available to me to try with it. However I do not like the look of either on black at all!

I recently tried some UPP and loved it in combination with Klasse

AIO. It leaves the surface super slick. I just picked up some more on the deal over at PAC.



I just wish I would have know about the deal on the Gloss Enhancing Spray. I would liked to have picked up some to try.
 
I always get UPP and 1Z UPP confused. You can use your 1Z PP before VM if you need to remove any defects from your paint.



I don't think you will have a place for NXT in your mix since NXT has cleaners and isn't really compatible with much of anything as a topper. I would say either UPP, SG, or NXT but not together.
 
Also got good results using AIO as a base then UPP.

Best combo I've seen on Silver Metallic paint other than using a wax.



I was hesitant to use UPP. The stuff is half oil. Got my UPP in a clear bottle and I could see the separation.



But it was easy to use. I applied AIO, UPP on 10/16/2004. Daily driver, no garage. Still slick and beading water.





Of course before the AIO, UPP I removed all swirls with IP then FPII using a PC. Might have something to do with the results.
 
I currently use ssr2, sec, and then platinum. I'm pretty satisfied with the results. Super slick after a month and still looks amazing.



I haven't tried applying platinum by pc, but it's very easy by hand. However, I did use the pc for the polishes.



I'll be switching to PI-III RC and/or PI-III MG, then SEC, then finish with platinum.
