What’s Accumulator using these days?

Great member who got me turned on to FK1000p. I’ll admit I’m not on here much, but wondering if he’s still using 1000p or?

I’d like to order some more but honestly, the shipping is insane. While I’ve had some good luck with ceramic sprays and sealants, I’ve thought about using some old school/OG stuff for simplicity since I work remotely and the car only gets about 5k a year.

Between 1000p and the 845/d156 combo, it brings back memories.

This might be one of those "do as I say, not as....I'm currently doing" situations!

I've been busy with other stuff, and am only now getting back into doing proper Details. The Tahoe needs some paintwork, so I'm not doing much with it until that's done, just using Meguiar's UQW on top of whatever FK might be left on it.

I'd still advocate for FK1000P (or whatever they're calling it now), and that's what I'll use the next time I Detail something. Well, something I really care about

I did try Griot's Ceramic 3-in-1 on a recent acquisition and have mixed feelings as it sure doesn't shed contamination the way the FK does. Easy-peasy though, and OK on black trim, so it wasn't a bad choice for that vehicle (spare dog-hauler my wife has take over since the A8 got totaled).

I'm probably due for a new tin of the FK (still using the first one I bought), and hadn't noted the increased shipping cost. Eh...I'd just pay up, the tin will last for so many years, like..the rest of my life... that whatever the shipping cost I can live with it. I still haven't found anything that suits my purposes better than the FK.
