What's a good polish?

I'm new to the whole car detailing thing. Right now I'm using Meguiar's NXT wax and was wondering what would a good polish be. I have swirls, light scratches, and water stains that need to come off!
 
There aren't too many "bad" polishes, just ones that aren't suited for what you need.



I'm assuming you are going to be working by hand? I have found 1Z Paint Polish to achieve excellent results when working by hand. They stay wet for a while and let you work it in effectively. Easy to use. I am not sure about any NXT bonding issues, you may have to check on that beforehand. I am pretty sure NXT is not very picky when it comes to bonding, but i could very well be wrong.
