What would you do if...

... you came out from the mall and found a flock of sea gulls pecking away at the top of your car? :shocked

Wow, that's a *picture* I wonder if there was something about that car (the LSP perhaps) that made it especially attractive to them.

I've often wondered by Seagulls seem attracted to large parking lots. I'm sure they know the difference, but I can't help but wonder if the lots resemble bodies of water.

I also think they see it as water. I notice I get nats, spiders and other little guyz hanging around too after a fresh wash or detail.

To answer the question, personally I'd spread my arms, wave them up and down and run at the car while screaming GAWWW !!! GAWWW !!! GAWWW !!! It usually works. It'll also put your friends in to hysterics if done properly.

Heh heh heh.

Yeah, to (actually :o ) answer the question, I'd scare 'em off too, but I'd try to *not* freak them out any more than necessary, lest they "scramble" to take off and scratch the car up even more. And some gulls aren't too scared of people (watch those beaks ;) ).

I don't think it has anything to do with that, it has to do with the GARBAGE that accumulates (no offense) in parking lots and the dumpsters from the stores nearby.
