what wetsand paper do you use?

I use Meguiar's Unigrit and it's made by Nikken. 3M papers are good as well. Buying good quality paper is very important as inconsistency in the grit will cause more harm than good.

Just picked up some Megs paper at a local supply store for $12-16 a 25 pack. He said they needed to clear it out.

Meguiar's/Nikken and Mirka for me. The newer 3M stuff sounds nice but their older papers left too many random deep tracers.

Have you guys seen the mirka abralon pads? I just saw a guy ordered them from europe and they are really SWEET!

My good painter uses those and he gave me a few in 2 and 4K, which I've used by hand a few times. I'm *very* favorably impressed, but I'd sure like to try them by machine.

If I ever had a really marred up vehicle to do, I'd like to try the Abralon system using a pneumatic DA; I think it'd beat trying to do the initial work with a twisted wool pad on the rotary.

No need to order from Europe, their headquarters is in Twinsburg Ohio, you could just call 'em up and ask where their local-to-you vendor is.
