what wax works the best for black vehicle. i have been using megs #7 for a while but just looking for something better.

Souveran paste or liquid souveran would be good choices for black. S100 hasn't ever disapointed me either. I've also seen stellar results with Natty's. If you want real looks and protection then you should go with a sealant like Wolfgang or Zaino though. Those two look spectacular on black.

For budget, Durability, and Looks go with Natty's Blue. For Durability, and a sick deep, wet look go with Souveran. The above mentioned sealants work well. I also have had the oppertunity to try DP's new sealant. Great stuff. For black though if your going to use a sealant I would top it with a wax. Waxes do Black more justice when it comes to the finish.

Meguiar's #7 isn't a wax it's a glaze so virtually anything you use will give you more protection and will look better after the first wash. #7 is typically used prior to putting down a final coat of wax. #7 will look pretty good as soon as you put it down but left without a top coat its nature is to evaporate fairly quickly particularly in heat. It goes away in a matter of days and offers no real protection.

I agree with what others have already told you when it comes to a price performance/looks issue Natty's Blue or S100 is tough to beat. Souveran if money isn't a real concern.
