What to use?

Okay, I will start off by saying that I have a 98 Chevy truck. I'm not sure what it is called but there is a piece on the inside right beside the window running along the top
there are cigarette burn on it (actually it just looks like ashes)...it seems to be a stain..does anyone have an idea as to how i could get it off?

Maybe you could try Blue Coral Dri Clean or something laong those lines. I am assuming this is a piece sort of like headliner material. Pics might help.
