what to use to remove sticky stuff

I just bought new oil cooler lines for my GN. Removed the GM sticker label that was around it and there seems to be adhesive left. What should I use to remove the adhesive from rubber without ruining the rubber lines?

Meguiars Final Detail works great and leaves a nice satin black finish. Can be ordered from any paint supply shop that carries Meguiars products. Cost is $17.85 / Gallon.

Yeah it does actually. I used it to remove adhesive left behind from a parts bin sticker on a plastic part. It takes some rubbing (not too bad) but it's safe for rubber and leaves a natural finish.

Griots Speedshine also does a good job removing adhesive, actually it worked better than the Final Detail but I'm not sure what kind of finish it will leave on rubber, I used it on a piece of aluminum.

I was going to suggest Goo Gone, but the bottle even says NOT to use on rubber... poop. :p

How about a tire cleaner?

Good idea! I happen to have a tire cleaner by Mothers. Purple stuff. Thanks for mentioning it!
Hey even better! The Mothers tire cleaner even suggests just wiping it on and off to clean trim and stuff. I've never tried using it that way myself, but let us know if it works - I'm curious. :)
