I buffed some scratches out of my truck the other day with rotary and a wool pad and left buffer swirls all over it. What should i use to remove them thinking of poorboys line cause they have a sale goin on. I have a rotary with the edge green pad, but thinking about picking up a PC

Steel wool..

Just Kidding:) ( sorry just in that mood :) )

a roatry is more then capable of doign the job. A wool pad will leave swirl marks.

you need several differnt foam pads and some SSR from PB and them some PB EX

the SSR product needs to be worked in at a medium speed withe little or no pressure with a medium to course pad to get the swirls out. The follow up with a soft pad and PB EX working it in severla applications.

I'm thinking you probably have holograms not swirls and a light polish with SSR1 or Professional Polish with a finishing pad will do the trick :)

A good finishing polish, a finishing pad, and speeds from 1000-1500 rpm. Buff with zero pressure and work the product til transparent.

A PC will make it more fool proof, but it is completely doable via rotary.
