What to use to clean gauge cluster plastic?

Is there anything out there that works best to clean the plastic face of gauge clusters? I know i is one of the more delicate things to try and clean becuase it will scratch easily, that's the reason I have never touched it before. It is starting to get a slight haze on it, I guess from the interior dressings, beause I tried an area and it wipes off easily.

I really have no idea what to use:confused:

I've been wanting to know this for a while. I currently use glass cleaner and microfiber towels. I can't think of any better towel to use than microfiber, but I would like to know what the best cleaner would be as well.

I would imagine a plastic cleaner would clean up any haze and slight scratches. I haven't really encountered any really bad gauge clusters before so all I use is QD to keep it clean.

I use Sparkle Glass Cleaner. It was developed to clean the windows on the B-29 bombers in WWII. Just make sure whatever you use doesn't contain amonia - that will cause crazing. I'm not sure about alcohol based products, maybe someone with more experience will chime in.

I know there are plenty of products that are safe to use, I just haven't tried that many. Plexus comes to mind - people really rave about it.

i use megs plastic detailer or fk425 and the eurow shag towel (awesome towel on delicate scratch sensitive surfaces and i use these instead of other microfiber towels for this purpose)...

I think the key is a quality MF towel that won't scratch with a glass cleaner being secondary. Anything that cleans and helps repel dust is fine, but a bad or dirty towel will scratch. I'm sure most people not on this forum just use paper towels and that plastic gets scratched all over.

Have you guys tried 303 Protectant on the cluster?

Yes and it left a greasy streaky mess.

Plexus is a plastic cleaner and light polish works better than anything I have tried on clear plastic.
