What to use between DACP and glaze?

I need some help with my process. I've just bough a PC to use on my 1994 Corrado. It's flash red paint, clear over base, and has swirls, oxidation, and some chemical damage.

I've already tried to sort it with ScratchX by hand, but it didn't fix the swirls, so I'll probably start with #83, followed by something a little lighter, then show car glaze and finally Megs synthetic sealant.

My problem is that I've just shelled out $$$ for the PC, so I'd rather use something between the DACP and SCG I already own, but what?

The options I have are SSR2, Zymol HD Cleanse, ScratchX, or Autoglym SRP. Would any of those be suitable?

Do I even need an intermediate step given that DACP has diminishing abrasives?
