I am looking to get a setup to accommodate 4" pads for my UDM, what will I need to outfit it and what pad manufacturer, and pad type do you recommend? I am looking for Orange pads.

Thanks friend. I was just looking for specific part # as well as what everyone else was using. I see a few different type of pads, thick, low profile, etc.

First you'll need a 3.5" backing plate:

3.5^^ Hook & Loop Flexiplate

Then you'll need some 4" pads:

4^^ Erasure Turbo Pads

It's hard to beat his prices on the 4" pads and his products and service are top-notch! If you order some of those pads I would stay away from the yellow, I think that is too aggressive for use on the PC/UDM, especially with 4" pads.

If you need any extra drying towels he sells my favorite (the Monterey):

Excel Monterey Waffle Weave Drying Towel

Hope it helps. There are a lot of 4" pad threads but they seem to be the CCS style pad that I don't prefer so I thought a link to some good flat 4" pads would benefit you and perhaps some others looking.

Autopia also sells the 3.5" BP and 4" pads:

Sonus SFX Spot Pads
