I know that you said that if i had any questions to call you during the day on a weekday unfortuantely im at school durung that time. So for the benafit for the whole board, a few quick questions about the ABC systyem i ordered. I have allready used the C and like it alot. My bigest concern is with the products drying on the surface because i have to do this outside, in a mostly shaded area but nevertheles...I have read through all of the archives here and on your site. With A, since its more or less a tradidional was solution that i can apply with a mitt, it seems like it can be easy to keep the surface constantly wet. Im guessing you just soak the vehicle with the solution with re-weeting and slight agitation every minute or so. Now B is where i get a little confused. I have an extra edicated wash nmitt for it which i think Hundui said you could use... and i also have a spray bottle. Is it ok if i just spray some B onto a wet wash mit and spread it across the surface, and then re-wet and agitate that way, or do i have to use a dry aplicator and apply it to a dry surface? Any tips? Ron i cant thank you enough for the help you have allready given me and any input would be highly apriciated.

Use a dispensor bottle, (like a ketchup squeeze bottle) squirt, don't spray, it on the surface and spread it around on a surface that has been dried of the majority of the rinse water from rinsing the A off.

It doesn't have to be perfectly dry, just not a lot of water on the top surfaces.

To keep it from drying, NOW you can use a spray bottle, have water in it. You can use the bottle to mist the surface to keep it active.

The product has water in it, but we don't want excessive water added, however as it drys , the drying is due to the water evaporating, so just mist it with the spray bottle of water.

You can use a sponge to move the B over the surfaces.

Like that "C" , everyone likes it, I orignally formulated that shampoo 13 years ago. Lots of suds, like to work in cold water, plenty of lubricity and doesn't try to take all the wax off, just dirt.

PS, today and Sunday morning will be the last I will be on here for 3 weeks. Leave Sunday at noon for Manila, on to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and end up in Bankok.

Be back in the country November 12th

If any have any questions, use the 800 number and call the office for Tim Brune. Tim will take care of you.

Thanks alot!:up So i can still use a chenile wash mit to spread the B. (Im guessing that since B's an acid, excess water will strengthen the reaction?) Also, since its outside, to have more control over the drying, i should brobably just do the car sections at a time, like one side, the other, front, rear. What do you think? Yeah i like the C alot, no-nonsense. It doesnt contain coconut oils but im not making a pina colada here.:) The only thing is that from my experience, the mix ratio for the C is a little low. I like to put in about 1and a half ounces for about two gallons instead of an ounce per gallon, but thats just me. Again thanks.

That is what cocaamide is, look at the CAS# on the label.

You can mix it up or down, just that the one ounce is easy and effective.

Want to see suds??

Take a 5 gallon bucket, fill it 3/4 up with water, then put in only 3 ounces and turn the hose nozzle to "jet or stream" and start adding water,

Better do this outside, because you can take the mix ratio up to around 1000 to 1 and still get foam.

Watch how long it takes for the foam that is going to be all over the drive way to disipate, and that is not due to phoney "foaming agents", but due to it being a coldwater, sulfanated system using the coconut oil in sufficent percentages.

That foam is what safely cleans and lubricates the suface without stripping.

When you look at the MSDS, under "hazardous" there are no components classifed as hazardous either.

Now i feel kinda dumb. Uh, never mind, but you get my point. No thickeners, no perfumes ect. Just a good car wash. I cant wait to ABC a car. Sre the results will be great.

I got A and B last week and read the directions on the bottle. A seems relatively straight forward. B seems a little less straightforward and technically more difficult. Is there a thread that goes into more detail on the A B C system? or this could be a good place to do so... Also, will a regular shampoo like Bodywork Shampoo or EF Power Wash be an acceptable alternative to C until I use those products up?

You may go to the site, www.autoint.com and click on the OEM/TSB section.

There are three Technical Service Bulletins that are printable.

All will provide step by step, rational, etc regarding the use of the products, the procedures, etc.

One from Ford, uses their part numbers for the ABC, while the Mazda and Hyundai use our part numbers.

The use of any other soap or shampoo is not recommended due to some of the fillers, etc that many use. These may adversely affect the process.

What supplies do you keep in your car at all times?

Just in case of a situation that comes up.... Personally, I keep a "bird-bomb-kit" in the car along with some other stuff (tire dressing, OK, I'm a little anal).

What do you keep in your car at all times, just in case you get stuck somewhere with some unwanted "stuff" on your ride?

Howdy Bill,

This is a good topic , I keep a bag in my Camaro that has Paper Towels ,M/F towels ,Z6 , Armour all glass wipes for emergency smudges ,California Duster.
A spray bottle of plain water.
The dust on the dash and console on the SS drives me nuts....I am on the hunt for a small 12 volt vacuum and duster...maybe that will put it in check.
I am thinking of adding a product for the black Lloyds mats for a quick detail ,because they push my buttons too !:Swordfight:

I can't believe the "ONR King" (me) left ONR off the list!!!

The compulsive detailer would keep a gallon of pre-mixed ONR in his trunk at all times!!!

Been awhile, ha, but im back around. Angelo I will be stopping in shortly, haha.

Back on topic.

I usually keep a bucket with some onr and a few other goodies mainly just interior cleaning supplies. Oh glass cleaner is always a must for me can't stand when my windows get dirty or what not.

I do however keep a full tool kit, my tuner, and some other goodies in the truck too.

Take to Show ?Kit?

ONR mixed to QD strength and a Zymol Lamb?s wool brush, Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal, Glass cleaner (Invisible Glass), rubber / vinyl cleaner (Iz Cockpit Premium) 10 micro fibre towels

I have nothing in it now, since I last cleaned the interior I pulled everything out. I think I will go and put my Stoner Glass-wipes in there with a Few MF's and hopefully I can find a spot for some Detailing Spray, although probably ONR QD dilution for cleaning and shinning it up :D

I keep a MF towel in the car so I can wipe the dust off the dash at stoplights. My wife thinks I'm crazy.:out:

I've been meaning to make a "bird bomb kit" for my cars, but I keep forgetting. Maybe this weeking.;)

I keep microfiber towels and applicators, Sprayway glass cleaner, PB's Spray and Wipe, 4 oz bottle Mothers cleaner wax (for one step water spot removal/protection), Mothers Showtime.

Gotta be prepared for the bird bombs. Usually have some sort of QD/waterless wash type spray and a quality MF towel or two. Along with shop towels, tool bag, first aid kit and currently all of my turkey hunting gear for those before work and after work impromptu outings. :)
