What size PC pad do you use?

I use a 6.5" but am thinking of moving to a 7.5"

Well, I just ordered the larger ones last night so we shall see come Monday how I like them.

7.5" Pad size, 6" backing pad + 1/4" all round clearance. The oversized foam pad isolates the backing plate from contact with the car's surface, so you can work without fear of damaging the finish with an exposed baking plate (as you can tell from my signature I need all the help I can get) :doh

Most of mine are the 6" CMA LC ones on a 6" home-made velcro backing plate!

I like that cushion too! I use a 5: plate with 6" pads now. The 6" plate sits way too close to the edge for me on a 6" pad.

Well, I did two cars using my new 7.5" pads and I love them. I can not see me goign back to the 6" ones any time soon.
