What size detailing tape for detailing? Do I tape "plastic" between my doors?

First of all, what size tape do you recommend? I bought the 1" tape but it looks like it might be too small.



Also, on my Charger, between the doors there is a "plastic" material (not sure if it's exactly plastic). Does that need to be taped or is it treated also?

I do not know about the plastic part. I am sure the gentlemen on her that has owned 2 of them will comment on it.



Back to the tape; I own 1" all the way to 3" tape. You just never know when you'll need it... I mainly use 1"

depends on the size of part being covered. what works for my vehicles is 1" and 2". on my in-laws 3" would have been nice but doubling the 2" work well.
