What`s your process for Interiors

Just got one of my rides custom upsholstered....shop asked me do I plan to condition the leather.
I told him I used to be that ~guy~ that did the whole clean, condition route but at the end of the day coated leather is coated leather.

This is what I use on the interior *I have alot of other stuff that just sits on the shelf*

Cockpit Premium for the Interior Interior
Blitz cut 2 different ways for door panels

Sprayway for glass

Seats get a wet MF wipedown *short nap*
If I feel there is grime, I will use cleaner and a HH brush to clean it out. I have not used conditioner in the last 6 years....After spending big bucks on the upholster, maybe I should just for that 1% of benefits....

Steering Wheel. This is where I get OCD
Where I usually hold the wheel, I`ll do a initial wipe with a MF and then set it aside *aka, it`s the 1st MF that get`s any dirt* I`ll then rotate and use on average 4-5 MF`s on the steering wheel. I sometimes use a HH brush to agitate it. But it just get`s water and medium plush towel. My theory is 2 fold with the steering wheel. I don`t like spreading ~hand oils~ all over the steering wheel. As well, I don`t like to rub hard to minimize the texture of the steering wheel - as I like the grain.....and don`t want to ~smooth~ it out.

Back to what spurned this. I have not touched my Leatherique or Leathermasters in a very loooong time

I normally Vac > Steam Clean > Interior Cleaner Scrub (optional for heavy dirt) > Poorboy`s Leather Stuff (to condition and protect)

My interior is typically spotless because there is no food or other "dirt making" items allowed, that does mean only water is allowed as beverage.

I just vac, quick detail, invisible glass, PA BellaClean and charisma combo... with all purpose MF towel/sponge.

Same here. I do not allow anyone to eat any food or drink besides water in my car. Drives people crazy but I don`t care. Take a bus lol

I vac, quick detail with McKees 37 Quick Interior Detailer, spot clean the floor mats with PBs Carpet and Upholstery as needed (awesome stuff) and then clean glass with Megs D140.

This is just me but I usually use white, cotton, bar mop towels (with some nap) for leather. I used to use 1Z CP but found Meguiars Quik Detailer so similar I switched after I ran out of the CP. ....very economical since I can pick up a gallon locally from a detail supply house for $17. A 5 liter jug of the CP is ~$65 IIRC. At the price of the MQD I can use it liberally without thinking twice about it.

The MQD is for frequent wipe downs and I use my Leather Masters leather cleaner for periodic deeper cleaning. ....and then treat with their Protection Cream. I`m nowhere near as anal as I once was but those are the products I still use today.

OT, on the steam cleaner. Maybe I`ve just not liking my Dupray Hill Injection, but the only time I use my Dupray for auto , I always tend to just use it with *injection* on the door jambs. I prefer the latter process in the OP.

Love the steamer for cleaning the bathroom and the wood floors in the house thought
