What QD with Blackfire Wet Diamond?

I'm curious, can you use carnuba based qd's like griots with Black Diamond? Also, does adding the fire and ice carnuba make a big difference?
 
You certainly can, but anything you put on top of Wet Diamond will diminish it's slickness and crystalline shine. The car panels will show the properties of whatever wax you layered on top of Wet Diamond. I wouldn't shell out the $$$ for the Midnight Sun Wax and would just use Blackfire's Deep Gloss spray instead... but that's just me...
 
So what QD do you use with Wet Diamond? I have Zaino Z8 or Griots. Or do i have to buy the Blackfire QD?

I actually like the Blackfire QD but Z8 is great too! ;)

Z8 is not a QD, it's a spray sealant. Z6 is a QD. Does Blackfire make a QD or is it a spray sealant? I would not use a spray sealant over light dust like you could with a QD.
 
BF makes a QD, or at least they used to. I used it over their original Wet Diamond. I found it impossible to wipe off streak free.



EDIT: I found the bottle in the basement. It is called Deep Gloss Spray. A couple years ago they were marketing it as a QD that would also enhance Wet Diamond's longevity. It appears that they are marketing it now as a spray sealant first, and can also be a QD. I have to admit that I like the Gloss Enhancing Polish. That stuff really makes my car look incredible. I'll have to bust it out again in the spring. Maybe I'll try the new formula Wet Diamond, too.
 
With BFWD as my base protection, I use ONR for my wash media. Then I use OID (Optimum Instant Detailer) as a QD.



They are all superbly glossy and wonderful. Not to mention easy on your pocket.
 
I have also been using Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray. You apply it then wipe off with a dry MF towel. Not as easy as some other QD's. A little goes a long way. Still leaves that slick, wet finish.
