I have an 02 jetta, dont know if its 100% genuine leather or "pleather" lol. But Ive used Lexol cleaner and conditioner and it doesnt do much as far as appearence. I want something that will bring out that "like new" appearance. I dont want anything to shiney or glossy but some kind of leather care that enhances the look. Can anyone recomend something please. thanks

I use diluted liquid soap in warm water. Scrub with a Boar's hair brush, wipe off with a clean terry towel and use compressed air (or a shop vac) to remove from creases and stitched areas. The seats look "as new"...not greasy and glossy.

My seat looks fine. I keep up on it and whipe it down with a damp rag weekly. I just want something to brighten it up a bit thats all. I wouldnt mind a little shine or gloss but nothing to crazy.

Duragloss leather conditioner is the best product that I have found to date.

It is not as slick and shiny as most of the other product that I have tried.

Ok..my bad: I thought you wanted to scrub and clean the seats. Meguiar's makes a decent leather conditioner and I've used Pinnacle's conditioner in my BMW. Both are good and don't have a greasy feel after application and buffing with a terry towel.

Duragloss Leather works great. There are some really good ones out there. Try a few and you will be suprised how many work very well.

I absolutely love Pinnacle's Leather Conditioner. I was skeptical at first, but the scent is incredible and it leaves the leather feeling soft, not greasy, and gives my seats a very nice sheen :woot2:

I used Tanner's Preserve for years. Love the smell even more than Pinnacle LC, and it works great, soaking into the leather in minutes. But it left the leather the same sheen as before application. PLC does everything Tanner's Preserve does, plus leaves a satin sheen that makes the interior look more... detailed.

FK1 108 is an interesting product because it produces a nice sheen yet not overdone... BUT ...it can look too shiny on pictures. How? I have no clue.

I use Wolfgang leather conditioner on my car most of the time. It leaves it nice and soft without the shine. However, I did try CG leather conditioner and it gave a nice shine to the leather while still leaving it nice and soft. If that was my preferred look I would be using that.
