Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh..... the old trusty Duster!

I use it daily. No scratches. I use a light touch!!!

This baby has some WEIGHT to it! Loaded with paraffin and dust... old and reliable!

(Kinda like me!!! LOL):D

When doing my daily wipedown of the exterior I use Meguiars Last Touch or Ultimate Quik Detailer, with Supreme Shine Microfibers.

I use Quik Interior Detailer a lot during the summer every two days or so too keep the dust to a minimum and kind of boost the life of my interior protectant.

I use the good old California Duster (wl thats what mine is called) as well, followed with some Quick Detailer.

You know that in the car show circuits, they call those "california car scratchers"

I've relegate all of those for wheels and dashes only. (different ones for each of course)

My daily use items would have to be my CR spotless, my Paradise Waffle Weave Towel and my Prima Hydro, and my snow foamer!

D!

I have learned how to use only the weight of the duster and "lift" off the dust. I've seen guys at car shows using PRESSURE and SCRUBBING off dirt and bug guts!!!

I used it on a black show car for 5 years and never had any scratching issues. (of course, it probably had 50 coats of sealant on it... that kinda helps!!!:D)

<blush> I don't use anything on a daily basis. A few times a week I'll do a QD with whichever product and towel strikes my fancy, and wipe down the dash. On weekends, I usually wash some of the cars and lay down either a booster product or a layer of a LSP looks good to me that day. Though I typically prefer sealants, I've been playing with waxes this season.

I sometimes use the duster, as well, making sure that only its tips touch the paint. I've yet to use it on dirt, but it does work well on dust.

I started using those dusters in the far east in the 70's, but when the early 80's came I started with a new product that came out. A meguiars QD that was the best thing that for cleaning off your ride then.

Here's another product I use every day...

Sprayway Glass Cleaner!

I used to pick up whatever glass cleaner was on sale at the auto parts store. Once I tried Sprayway, there was no looking back. No streaks and excellent cleaning power!
