What practise can do!

Sorry for the out of focus pictures....the batteries were very close to dead.

Well, after hours of trying different things, and applications for SFP, I finally got it to work they way I wanted it to.

I got it so much better, you could see the swirls dissappering while I was polishing.

By the way this was only SFP, and it was done by hand. I can't wait to get my PC in about 4 days, then I"m going to go over the hood and such with DACP.

here's a pic of the difference. They first one is a pic of the repainted door that the body shop screwed up on.

it solved that pretty quick.

Heres a pic of the buick that I swirled the crap out of when I was just starting detail work.

MY GOD DO THEY EVER SHINE NOW! Thanks for all the help autopia has given me over the last 2 months.

*** THE LEFT SIDE IN BOTH PICTURES ARE THE SIDES THAT WERE WORKED ON.***

:) Nice progress. Really great--impressive. It's good to see you learning some new things. In no time you'll be posting some really awesome pictures. Keep up the good work, young grasshopper.

Well these pictures really don't do the blazers work justice....I called my dad out after I pulled the tape off of the panel that I was trying to divide, and he came out and was like " HOLY F***!"

That made me so proud! :D

So you took the plunge and bought a PC? What pads did you go with?

My only advice with DACP would be that less is more. If you use a lot of product you have to work it for so long, and the results aren't any better. Better off doing two passes. :) You've probably read this somewhere though.

From my experience, I use the light cut (TOL white pads) the most, the yellow (medium cut) pads the least, and the grey pads are suppose to be for wax application but I found they work good for applying Vanilla Moose and glazes of course. :)

No pads for now...I just am thinking I got it for my birthday in like 2 days, cause my parents keep asking where to buy it and stuff....I'm excited.

For now, I'll have to stick with some bonnets on it...but those will be high quality bonnets.
