What Polish/glaze to use?

What polish/glaze should I be using on really soft type of paint? Trying to stick with Meguiar's too (local).

I have #83 and #9 from previous. But some say #83 might be too harsh for soft paint?

tia!

#83 is a cleaner/polish and would work fine on ""soft paint". It's not a glaze at all though. What are you looking to accomplish?

I asked this same question here about 5 months ago when I had to remove scratches from my 2007 Civic which supposedly has soft paint, and this is what was suggested to do:
1) use polishing pad and PB SSR 2.5 /orMeg #83.
2) SSR 1 and finishing pad but instead I used Meg#2 and it worked fine.
3)I would now ad a layer of glaze like DWG or CG EZ creme but at that time I went straight to a sealant and the car looked excellent.

Well I just have really light to medium swirls, worse is just on trunk lid only. #2 sounds too rough for what I need.

I just posted this on the other thread too,

1. #83 on trunk lid only another W-8006 pad
2. #9 with W-8006 pad
3. #80, light coat, (maybe even ColorX?) Another W-8006 pad
4. I might go with a Sealant like #20 or #21 with W-9006 pad or just Wax (NXT) by hand
