What LSPs can be applied in the sun?

I know there are polishes that can be used in the sun... but recently Ive ran into a few details where a garage or shade wasnt available. I basically had to apply in the sun, but its been cold here so it worked out ok... surfaces werent hot.

Talk to me.. I need to add a sun friendly LSP to my arsenal just incase I have this happen again.

Thanks! :waxing:

Its not the sun you have to worry about, its how hot your panels are. Like in the spring/fall the sun might be out but the temperater is only 40F-60F. In this case you can easily use any wax/sealant or polish and be just fine.

During the summer months when its 90F+ and your panels are 110F-150F there isnt any product you can use IMO.

I've actually used EX and EX-P in those situations. It's not ideal, but it works.

Im curious how it is possible though.

When your panels are as hot as that and steam rolls up when you spray water on it and the panels are so hot that you cant touch the panel with your finger for more than a split second how does any polish or wax not dry out in a blink of an eye?
