What looks better over AIO - Zaino or Carnuba?

Like the title says. Also, do you Zaino users like to wash the car after the AIO. I have read you do not have to, but was curious anyway.

Thanks. I'll post pics of the new silver Magnum R/T when I'm done.

A Thousand Thanks

Looks are strictly subjective. No one can tell you what you like to "look" at.

Sealants=brighter shine

Carnauba=deeper glow

I use AIO as a base for everything, and I don't typically wash before applying Zaino.

Agreed with Zane. I applied Collinite IW over AIO on my roommate's silver Sentra and it looks spectacular a week later. However, Z2Pro (if you have it) will really make that silver R/T sparkle.

If you have both already, do a half and half on the hood.

Hello all!

Sal Zaino recommends that you wash your vehicle after applying the AIO. With that accomplished, you can then proceed with the Zaino.

You could try AIO, sealant, and then carnauba for a long lasting and good looking car. If you went AIO and sealant you would just get long lasting ( and like ZaneO said brighter shine) effect. If you went with AIO and carnauba it wouldn't last long but the paint would look wet.

If you prep the finish to it's natural highest gloss either protectant will give you all the pleasant features (depth, gloss, reflectivity, wetness) one normally desires. If you want to change or alter the color hue (darken) and mute some of the reflectivity for a more apparent warmth, a carnuaba will do this for you. If you desire the just detailed look beyond the 1st wash, a good true sealant will meet your needs.

Though I do not recommend AIO, even though it appears to work fine, I would definitely at least do a Z6 wipedown prior to applying Zaino or the QD of your choosen sealant.

On silver metallic it is hard to make the wrong decision. :xyxthumbs

I like AIO, then Z2Pro if I have to combine different product lines. It is a guarantee of a quality look.
