What kind of durability with Collinite 845?

What have you all seen as far as durability with 845? I've heard 4-6 months can be achieved, but I was thinking of maybe applying it every month or so. How often would you all reccomend reapplying it?

This is after a Nova Scotia winter, lots of salt here on the roads.

i did my CTS in august when i got it. it is my DD and sits outside 24/7 albeit shaded most of the time. i am just getting ready to redo now. it still looks great. :woot2:

Yeah, you oughta get a few months (though I never get as long as with 476S). If/when you notice the beading changing, I'd just use Sonus green Ultra-fine clay to clean it up and reapply some more, only takes a moment.

Did my Suby wagon in early December and just got round to redoing it last weekend after the beading changed last week. Car is a daily driver and sits outside 24/7.

I think you'll see greater durability from carnauba based LSP's in the winter. Waxes like the cold. The heat of the summer takes it's toll on em fast. I wax every four weeks in the summer, minimum, but I'm not using a really durable wax, either. One layer of Vintage lasted on my wife's Sequoia from November through February.
