What is the best protectant

Someone is paying attention. :)

Which one do you suggest for INTERIOR and EXTERIOR applications?

I'm seeking.

Some of the pros here may laugh at this, but I found some Nu Vinyl when cleaning out the mom-in-law's house and applied it on the exterior components of my Ford Fusion. Still looks awesome after a few weeks of terrible winter weather.

I dont really know of a product that works great inside and out. It would be nice to be able to use just one product for both! Anything that lasts for weeks in winter on an exterior is impressive.

It's going to be near 50 here most of this week. I can't wait to break out the "tools" and do some serious cleaning.

I'll surely apply another coat of Nu Vinyl. Before I used it I asked the Ford dealer detail shop manager about it and he told me it's probably the same product in "most" bottles on the shelf. :)

What do you recommend for rubber gaskets for doors, trunk lid, hood?

The answer is very simple: a garage. Often over looked and under valued by car owners. A garage will do more to keep your car looking good than anything else.

New cars have tinted, low e glass which protects the interior from UV damages.

As for tires and exterior trim, who knows for sure.

Most tire dressings claim to prevent cracking. I don't own tires that long. I never drive more than 30,000 miles or three years on a tire, no matter which brand it is.
