What is that smell?

When I apply Rain X I always say to myself 'I've smelled this smell before, but what is it!?"

If anyone could help me figure this out I will appreciate it

Thank you for your time

Rain X smells like IPA to me...

Denatured Alcohol imo.

The most important question is why use RainX (I know it works great)? Glass Science was created by the creator of RainX, and step-for-step, lasts longer and works better (IME).

The new Pinnacle Glass Sealant beads water at a lower speed then any other water repellent I have used.

I used to play this game with my bother when we were small :)

I think the thing that seems to give RainX an edge is its availability. I can find it everywhere but I haven't seen Glass Science any where local.

So, which do you like better between glass science and Pinnacle sealant?

+1 with Todd - Denatured Alcohol, perhaps first smelled in that 6th grade science class..:)

It's the Alcohol content of the product you smell. It makes it evaporated faster when on the surface and clean very well.
