What is a good economical tire dressing?

I never used to use tire dressing, but last fall I got a can of Megs Hot Shine aerosol spray. I like it fine, but I've only used it like three times and the can feels like I'm only going to get a couple more cars out of it, which seems ridiculous. So I'd like to know what to get that is more economical. I really don't care what type it is, gel, spray, whatever. Not really concerned that much with how shiny it is either.

I use Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel. It only takes a little bit, looks great and you don't get any sling off which I really hate. I probably got at least 25 details out of the bottle I have now and I don't think I used even 1/8 of the bottle. I put it on thin and it leaves a nice natural semigloss look.

Optimum Tire Shine. Lasts a good while and is cheap enough to use in the wells if desired. Just remember to clean the tires first.

I think TOL Grape Dressing can be shipped to Michigan.. awesome stuff, cheap and looks great but it's not VOC compliant so a lot of people can't get it.

Get the spray bottle version and use a foam applicator. You can control the shine by how much you apply. The one bottle has lasted me quite a bit.

The best OTC product IMO would be Megs. Endurance Gel or Stoners Aresol Less Time More Shine. I use both, the gel for the tires and stoners for the wheel wells. Love them both!

Regular AAall for the wells and Turtle wax plat. for the tires, a little goes a LONNNNG way with the plat.. mine has seen three actual hose washes and its still looks dressed..pretty bad when your tires bead too ;) most of all,, I have a red car and black spots of slinging tire dressing is a no no, and the plat. comes through for me in the no sling dept.

The FK looks good....do you cut it....what about you Armour All users...do you cut that as well?

I use the Hot Shine as well and like the look, but it seems to not last very long.

Armor All seems to be the cheapest way.

Not when comparing it to the gallon prices of most premium tire dressings. You can get a gallon of meg's detailers line for like $16 bucks, and a gallon of my fav optimum tire shine is only $25.
