How did you locate this forum? For me I did a Google search on Detailing one day and was fascinated to find a place where all people talked about was Detailing

How did you get here?
 
I had a good friend who recommend I research here. That was many years ago and I am not sure if he is still active, but it stuck in my mind as the go-to place for a huge amount of resources.

i migrated to this forum from anther one that todd and many of the other guys here were on. the name escapes me now...old age i guess. but i wanted to take my old cars to the next level and make them stand out from the rest. they get noticed when they're clean fo sho.
 
I came here after getting my car detailed by a local detailer. I wanted to do some research on the products he used and it brought me here. Couldn't be happier.

Pretty much the same way for me. Except this is the 2nd forum I lurked on for a quite a while and got tired of not having access to all the pictures so finally signed up. Only reason I didn't sign up right away is because I never thought I would be very active on here and I didn't expect to get even more interested in detailing.
 
Started over at Adams Forums about a year and a half ago. Came across the Junkman's videos and he mentioned AG. Much better forum than Adams!
 
I was searching the net for information about the bugs that imprinted them selves onto the bumper of my brand new car and that was close to 2 years ago. I think that is how I ended up here.
 
I was a member of Detail City (the join date in my avatar) and also a member of the Proper Auto Care forum before PBMG formally acquired Detail City from Troy/Dwayne and then renamed it, brought in Todd when PBMG acquired what was left of PAC along with Blackfire brand. They merged the PAC content into AF.

That would be Truth In Detailing. It was owned by Proper Auto Care which has since gone belly up

I wish I'd have never signed up sometimes. Now I feel it's my duty to educate the masses

Detail City? What a catchy name! IMO they should change the name of this place to that
