What do you think of these wheels?

I'm just getting an idea of what the opinions are on these wheels. I think they look pretty sharp on the car. I think having this many spokes to clean could be a bit of a pain, but not overwhelming. Any opinions? They are 17" OZ Racing Superleggeras.

So-so. To me, they don't really stand out, but then again they don't really blend in well either. Personally, I think the car would look cleaner and crisper with something else, although I don't know what (therefore I have no suggestions).

I'm not really a fan of those, but I tend to base my opinions on how easy the wheel will be to keep looking good. I never really have liked the open look that so many rims have these days.

To me, the only way I'm spending money on aftermarket wheels is if they really set the car off or they were a steal and I just couldn't pass them up.

When I first gazed upon the wheels in your picture all I could think of was a octopus on a merry go round with the tenticles getting thinner and thinner.

Sorry

Of course it is photoshoped. I thought I had said that, but I guess I forgot. I haven't bought them yet. The seller sent me pictures and I just cut and paste so I could get an idea of what they would look like on the car. It's actually the reason I took a picture of the car at that angle. ;) I wanted a nice straight on shot to play with wheel images on it.

I don't care much for them but then I am a guy that likes staggered rims and very aggressive lips on them

What I'd really like to find is a set of Racing Hart Tracers and put those on it.

I love the classic five spoke look with a nice polished lip. Maybe I'll look into finding another set of Katana Concept Fives like I had on the integra. Those were sweet looking rims.

I saw this thread and couldn't resist pitching in with a little Photoshop fun! Here's one TMoore-style...

A little touch of gun-metal on the rims to flow with the car, but then a red pinstripe around the lip to set it off with the red in the badges. And of course I dropped it a touch.

I'd rock this for sure...

Oh...and as for cleaning them, they shouldn't be too bad as the spokes are spaced well enough to be able to get your hands in there pretty well.

When I bought my 20's that was the first thing I looked at...how easy would they be to clean. I picked some with wide enough gaps to be easily cleanable. None of those annoying nuts/rivets and stuff like that.

I see a lot of cars that have this look but its never done much for me...looks like the old stock racing cars of the 70's to me

I wouldn't mind the gunmetal, but the red stripe is too much for me. I think the drop is too extreme to be practical as well. If I dropped the car that low then I'd never get into my driveway, my street, or my office. I don't like scraping on speed bumps and everything else higher than an inch off the ground. ;) If it were more of a sports car then I might consider it, but it is money that I don't need to spend on a Corolla. ;)

They are pretty bland stock too, so I figure for summer wheels I might want something a little nicer. The stock rims and tires are in great shape and would be great winter wheels. They are pretty simple five spoke rims, so I figured a flashier set might look good too.

The first set are a little too "dark" for me. Now the second set I really like. I had a set like that on a 70 Mach 1 that I owned. It had a rear disc brake conversion on it. It looked very nice, if I do say so myself. :D
