What do you guys use on embroidering?

I'm having some trouble cleaning the embroidering on some Audi seats I'm working on. The seats are leather and the embroidering is white thread. It's gone all grey and gungy over the years. I've tried an APC, tried a little simple green and even some watered down resolve. Nothing is getting them back to their bright white. I don't want to stain or damage the leather, though.

Ideas?

how are you applying the simple green ? are you letting it soak in deep enough ? try pushing (dabbing) it in a bit then dab or vac dry but let it stand for a few mins and might have to repeat a few times.

Ah, ok I will try that. I was dabbing on then wiping right off. Thanks.

Yep - tried simple green yesterday and it worked much better by just letting it sit. It's about 90% clean now. I am going to try some non-coloured APC this weekend to see if I can't get the reamining grunge out. Thanks. :)
