I saw this on a BMW forum...guy said that he lives in a place where outside juice is real hard to come by...this seemed like the best solution...I wasn't impressed but then that's not to say that it would not be a good thing for his situation

I was suprised I have not seen anything like this before. They have battery powered everything, I saw a cordless Chainsaw the other day that had an 18v rechargeable battery in it.

Might be ok to put on a lsp, but do you think it has enough to act as a polisher?
 
Looks like one of those we generally shy away from. It might be good for application of wax or something, but I don't rhink it would remove swirls.
 
There was some conversation about cordless polishers some time back and the general consensus seemed to be that they didn't work good for polishing. Those that had tried them were disappointed with the results.
The cordless polisher that Meguiar's had didn't seem to get very good reviews for anything other than a wax spreader.

I would take the battery operated before this one. OR... carry a power pack and plug it in that instead..
