Hey guys, just dropping by to get the real scoop....
I have a 1990 Tbird SC with a cracked dash.
I just got a 1993 Tbird SC "parts car" for a donor dash, amongst some other parts, and this dash seems to be in decent shape. It doesn't seem brittle, but there may be a spot of weakness/brittleness here or there that I can't see or tell.
BTW the dash already has to be removed to replace a heater core...
The problem is that the job of removing the entire dash will take a toll on the older dash vinyl.
I usually use reglar ole armoral, but I want to know:
What is the best conditioning product that would be for the best shot at not damaging or cracking it upon removal.
Thanks guys!
