what car options/accessories can you do without?

my sister has an silver 05' tsx and it came (as with most i've seen) with these black plastic/rubber mud flaps that i can't stand to look at (doesn't match the paint or the rest of the car) and not to mention they have to be dressed everytime i wash the car or they look faded/beat. at least they (honda/acura) could of made matching color ones that attach to the bottom part of the bumper(s) (like the altimas). i tried taking them off, and they in fact left scratches, paint chips underneath.... :furious:
 
Mud flaps? The TSX pictures I'm looking at don't show any mud flaps. That sounds like some dealer-intalled nonsense. Like when my friend and I stopped into a Hyundai dealer to look at the new Sonata, and the one in the showroom had some tape pinstriping and some chrome-look vinyl door-edge molding on it....they had a window sticker addendum documenting these "special extras" : $7.50 worth of vinyl pinstripe tape, $10 worth of self-stick door-edge molding, 20 minutes of installer time at $20/hr...cost to dealer @$25....cost on window sticker $750 :soscared:
