Souveran

Natty's white & blue

I plan on trying out a new wax on my Titanium Silver Q45t. Also any recommendations would be appreciated.

my process will be:

wash --NXT

clay -- Magic

wash --NXT or PB SW (Mood thing.)

polish -- Klass AIO by PC & polishing pad

Klasse -- Sealant by hand

??? wax

DG AW

I had thought about trying a glaze over the sealant then the wax but was not sure if it would really give me more of a wet look. I not only want to see myself but I want the car to reflect and have good depth.

Again I look forward to your recommendations.

and I think you want more of a polish than AIO

AIO is a great chemical cleaner but will not do much in the way of defect rermoval

then once the car is preped any of those waxes will work fine

MagicCity33- I can't really help regarding the paste waxes as the only one of those I've used is the Souveran. FWIW I *really* like it on my metallic light gray (sorta like silver) Jag and it's my wife's all-time favorite on her silver Audi.

But FWIW, I've quit topping my KSG as I like to add more from time to time. See how you like the look after you get a few coata of KSG on there, you might not think it *needs* topping.

Oh, and Welcome to Autopia!

Thank Accumulator I've been reading many post just haven't posted yet.

Many people have told me about layering layering my sealants, and many have stated that after two you really don't get anymore shine or depth like carnuba's. I'm definitely going to try some different things though.

Either way my clients will be pleased with the outcome.

Thanks for your input and I will be posting more and sharing more.

Yeah I was thinking about this but because I keep the car up I only have some minor scratches on the front bumper, well I have recently obtained some deep scrtachs on the roof of my car, I may try using PB PP on the whole car since I still have some of this product left. I recently purchased the Klasse for a birthday gift and was just eager to give it a whirl.

Thanks for your input, I'm always looking to learn more.

If you're doing this for a client's vehicle that's one thing, but if you're doing it for your own you might consider this:

I noticed a visible difference when I applied the third and fourth layer of KSG to my silver Mazda. Additional layers provided greatly improved durability but did not enhance the appearance any.

When I was topping my KSG with Meg's #16 it *did* look a bit better, so see what you want to do.

And I'd do whatever you can about those scratches; the Klasse twins don't hide flaws the way carnaubas do.

Souveran, CG5050, Pete 53, Natty's Blue

Those in that order look best on "MY" car.... A initial layer of Meg. #21 then you wax will give you awesome results. Be sure the car is prepped with the right polish(es) first or your work is for nothing but second best.

Natty's Blue is designed for "DARKER" color cars. As to Natty's White is for "LIGHTER" colors.

Like many, myself has also had great success with the combo of Poorboy's Ex-P and then Natty's. Gives a nice deep/wet look in my eyes on my Black Civic.:woot2:

have you used the pinnacle signature series paste? i noticed it's on sale for $19.99! i was thinking of buying a jar, as if i don't already have enough lsp's right now... :D

Both Souveran and Nattys will look great on darker colors vs the Klasse twins, especially on black. I haven't tried the other waxes.

I have personally only used Natty's Blue and Pete's '53.

Natty's Blue is easy on, easy off but I didn't like the durability. The beading wore off quickly and the slickness was gone after the first week. However, it did look quite good.

On the other hands, Pete's '53 is my new favorite. Easy on, easy off, incredibly depth, very wet looking, the beading is insane and the slickness lasts forever...

I noticed the the Nattys blue muted the metallic flake in my black paint. The petes "kinda" muted it but not as much as the nattys. The pinnacle actually seemed to brighten the flake and even more so with the liquid version. I think the liquid souveran is my next purchase. Just my observations. I am also using prima amigo glaze underneath.

Thanks for the input from everyone, I put in an order for some optimum polish, then I plan to use mirror glaze, then Klasse Sealant. I think I can apply a second coat of sealnt after 12 hours. Then I will lay on the Pete 53 and finally DG AW with a cherry on top.

I'll be starting this process at about 6 in the morning on Saturday if all of my orders make it here before then if not I'll come up with an alternate plan. The main thing I want to tackle is the polishing.

Thanks Again.

What "Mirror Glaze" product? A lot of the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze products leave "trade secret oils" behind and those will interfere with the bonding of the KSG.
