What are the best waxes?

It all depends what you want out of the wax, if you want gerat protection forget a wax and use a sealent, if you wnat shineyness then a wax is the way to go. You wil get a million awsners but imo th best waxes are:

Victoria wax(any of there 3)

Zymol Concours

I have tried many many many others but those reign supreime in my eyes

No true answer as their are many fine waxes and sealants available today. The secret to a great shine is in the prep work. I like a combination of DACP for swirling and marring, Megs #80 for polishing, VM for a final glaze and 4*UPP or Megs #21 for the LSP .

I assume you want ultra durable protection with decent shine.

Go with any Collinite Paste and you're done.

Most people look for something durable in a truck wax. So I suggest Menzerna Final Polish II, Meguiars #3 or #81 as a glaze and Meguires #21 Polymer sealant. (which is not a wax). If you want a wax Pinnicale Souveran is No. 1 but is not as long lasting. JMO

+1.

I have to add Chemical Guys 5050 to that great short list.

for a truck, I would look at Duragloss 105. WHen applied on top of the bonding agent, gives an ultra durable layer of protestion and shine! Not to mention the luster can be improved when toped with a nice nuba.

Protestion I'd hate to have a layer of that (I'm a worse speller than you) HA HA Just kidin... 105 and CG 5050 are good options.... It's a matter of what you want durability or longevity.

There really is no "best wax". It would probably be more helpful if you could specify what you are looking for in your wax. Collinite is absolutely amazing for durability, while other waxes like S100, Natty's Blue, Souveran are "boutique waxes" which give the paint a stunning finish.
