WG Spritz/Spray Sealant?

I see on the AG & WG web pages that WG now has a spray sealant. Is this new? If I am not mistaken, it seems like this product quietly made it's way to these web pages, and I don't recall seeing anything posted about it here or at Autop.

By reading the web pages it says the spray sealant is a direct descendant of the WG Deep Gloss Sealant and will give the same carnauba-type finish, but in spray form and requiring only a 1 hour cure time ! Price seems to be OK at $17 for 16oz, and $0 shipping if ordered from the wg site. Being the WG fan that I am, I ordered some this morning.

Has anyone else tried this? Your impressions or thoughts???

I have it, altough I don't have the Deep Gloss Sealant. It's been around for a while. It's just a QD with some polymer protection, very nice look and slickness, but it won't last like DP Spray Shield or UPPS. I'd say it's more like FX Spray Wax in it's application and results.

Like you, the stuff that I've had for awhile and have been using is the Instant Detail Spritz, and it mentions nothing about being a sealant. I agree the spritz is 'just' a QD, but the web pages clearly describes a different product, Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant, and the Spritz is no longer listed.

My bet is they replaced the QD Spritz with the spray sealant. I'll touch base with Jason at AG and check with them about this, and then when I get my order I'll do a review and post.

:online2lo I completely missed that! ON their web page, they used to call it Instant Sealant Spritz, so I didn't even notice the name change. Looks very interesting, but with only a 1-hour cure time I would imagine it differs with the original formula quite a bit. I mean, I have DP Spray Surface Shield, and that takes a full 12 hours to cure, just like the Premium Surface Shield. Looks interesting, though...definitely want to see your review!

You must be 100% correct about it being a replacement for the Spritz, because they have practically been giving the stuff away over the past month. It's also happened to Pinnacle Swirl Remover (64oz. for $20) and that got replaced with Advanced Finishing Polish.

I confirmed with Jason at AG that this Wolfgang Spray Sealant is a new product, and I assume to replace the QD spritz but not real sure. Apparently it is very similiar to the spritz but contains more polymers and can be used as a quick detailer, or as a sealant layer and topped with a wax.

The web pages indicates only a 1 hour curing time, and that it is a descendant of the WG Deep Gloss Sealant, so hopefully it will give that nice deep, warmer finish.

I have some on order and will post a review !!!
