wettest polish/wax combo

Scottwax,

I was looking through your gallery on photohost, what did you use on the black BMW 740? It's towards the back of your gallery, "740iL reflections". You said it's Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze and Carnuba Moose Wax, but did you 3M SMR and polish it beforehand? If so, which swirl remover and/or polish?

Thanks Man!

A message to the moderators of Autopia that we so dearly love and respect. (Im a kiss *** i know)

If that picture of the red Acure that Godwax, i mean Scottwax does not go into a hall of fame of some kinda then i dont know what would.

Im speechless!!!!

I actually started thinking how much i would have to pay Scottwax as well as the cost of a return ticket, to come out to Australia and do my car, just once !!!!!

I didn't this last time, but I went hog wild on the car the time before since it had those hideous optional dealer installed buffer swirls. I had to go over the car with DACP and Swirl Free and if I remember right, I then used Vanilla Moose and S100 Paste Wax.

The paint was still in outstanding shape this last time, so just a glaze and wax was enough to maintain the shine.

I take it this is the shot ;)

Myles-I do have help from the customer on that car. He washes it 5-6 times a week and has me wax it without fail every 2 months, so it stays in excellent shape, so a glaze and wax is usually sufficient. BTW, the Vanilla Moose/S100 combo on that car is about as wet looking, but a bit brighter looking.
