Wet Foam Pads

Ok guys and gals. I'm going to let you in on a little secret here. I've never seen this mentioned, so maybe I can claim credit for it.
How do you get the water out of those foam pads after you wash them without ruining the velcro attached to it?

I got this back when I was still drying my car with a chamois and wanted a better way to wring them out. I just tried it this weekend and it worked great.

I sit them up and let them dry on their own. Doesn't Autogeek sell something similar to that for ~$170?

Yes they do. There's more as well. The wringer is not my idea, just using it for foam pads is.

If you have the space for it, the idea seems like a good one.
Mine are dried by standing them on edge and it takes quite a while.
For a hobby detailer the time is a nuisance, for a professional, it probably couldn't be tolerated. I have 8 pads so I can work around it pretty well. :)

I spin the rotary pads in an empty bucket to avoid getting me & everything else wet.

I dry PC pads by squeezing out as much water as possible, then manually pressing them between two towels 2x or 3x (move to a new dry spot) until I don't get much of a wet spot. Start from the center & work towards the edge.

Then I leave them to air-dry or stand them up next to the dehumidifer in the basement.

I get as much water our by hand first then set them on a hook with a bucket under them and let them dry that way. Seems to work good.
