All evidence suggests they were and Bonds probably still is.. As much as I love McGuire the record should still be 61.

Just for the record, the baseball player spells his name McGwire, not McGuire. Just don't want people thinking I'm him.:xyxthumbs

Has anyone actually looked at pictures of these guys from their earlier playing days? Take one look and it is pretty obvious they were both juiced to the max. They have made the records they broke a farce and it should revert to 61 homers although I am sure it never will. I actually just saw another player complaining that he should have been named mvp instead of Canseco back in the day because Canseco was juiced up. This is going to be huge.

I would say for sure they were. These guys got better as they aged. People don't peek in their late 30's and in the case of Bonds now in his 40's. I don't respect any of the numbers these clowns put up.

I think steroids should be allowed for professional athletes. We allow entertainers to get plastic surgury, right? Pro sports is an entertainment industry. We fans like to see home runs in just the same way we like to see big boobs.

Considering H.S. and college kids use roids, and other sporting events where people arnt signed to 100 million dollar contracts, what do you think?

True but the health risks for big boobs is guys with bulging eyes and an inability to look a woman in the face. Steriods have some serious consequences.

I'm sure Bonds was and McGwire probably was. I know from my own experience when lifting weights it is possible to add serious size completely naturally.

According to McGwire's teammates, he was an animal in the weight room. Several have said that he worked harder on the weights than any other teammate they ever had.

Canseco, on the other hand, was noted to not work out, stating that he had "helpers".

The latest pics I've seen of McGwire show him to still be huge. I doubt seriously he's still juicing in an effort to get better at golf.

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt until more info comes forward.
