What type of dressing do people use to make their step bars look nice without making them slippery? I have some 303 protectant due to arrive any day now. Will that work or will it be too slick?

No, I have the black (plastic, I think), flat step bars on my F150 - I guess you would really call them step platforms rather than step bars.

I've only had my truck a month and it didn't take long to realize that the steps need something to keep them from looking dirty/dull, even when they were freshly washed.

Aren't they textured? Or are they round... I would think 303 or Vinylex would be good. Vinylex would give it a good shine, 303 might last longer. Both have good UV protection.

I have a Ram and have been using 303 on the step bars with no problem as of yet. I don't glob it on just a light spray.

Well it?s about time to start thinking about my winter prep. My wife really likes the look of Klasse SG on her car, and I a, thinking of try Menz Power Lock on mine this year. Both vehicles look good but I am thinking about putting a coat of EZ ~ Cream on them under my sealant. So my question is; Do you foresee any issue putting a layer of EZ ~ Cream under my sealants? My thought is because BH is acrylic based there shouldn't be any issue but I'd rather make sure. Thanks for the help.

Troy,
As long as it is an acrylic based glaze, you shouldn't have any bonding issues. However, Power Lock has a great wet look to it, so I am not sure how much extra you will get from the EZ Cream Glaze.
