Ok first off i bought my coupe and it had cob webs all over!!



The dealer just obviously never used the two buck method :D



Well i used the following in order.



NXT wash

Clay

Sonus Paintwork Cleanser

Scratch X

#80 Quick glaze

#7 Show car glaze

Nxt wax x 2

Stage three Carnuabua Wax to top it off.

I forgot to ask what does anyone reccomend once i stop using these products. To take the place of the glaze, NXT wax and my Carnubua Topper. Any Ideas?



I fancied the poor boys range but read that a lot of people like Klass and pinaccle.

Would the NXT remove the glazes you used? Because it has cleaning properties? You definately went all out. Nope no Vauxhalls over here in the States, but everytime I'm in the UK that's all I seem to see; they're like the Toyota Camry of England;-)



I think Autopia or Proper Auto Care have a Klasse Kit with Pinnacle too, called a Concours Kit, or something. That'd be a good idea for you.

Hmm, maybe a cheaper route would be All-In-One, Sealant Glaze and P21s or S100.
 
Im not bothered about price as long as its not like 60 bucks for a tub of wax lol!



But yeh i was thinkin Klasse or menzerna or poor boys, but heard a few stories bout the products on here melting etc. And Scotland is cold at the best of times never mind the winter.



Yeh vauxhall is quite popular especially the corsa CRINGE!!!

and which products have you heard having a problem with melting? most of klasse, menzerna, and poorboy's products are liquids, with poorboy's natty paste wax being the only paste. well, you won't have to worry about products melting...:D but any of these three are good products, each having their own pros and cons.
 
There's nothing wrong with the products you already have to be used again. The three companies you mention all have great products, you cannot go wrong there.
 
That blue looks great!! Is it Prestige Blue, if so I'm pretty sure it's the same color that GM uses here in the states but they call it "Arrival Blue" (That's the color of my truck)
 
Im sure they're GM owned. I think its azure blue but no 100%. Ill try and get some natural photos when the sun comes out as it shows the metal flake much better.

Your Astra looks coolio! I have a friend who runs a GSi, it goes well...that 2.0 turbo gives it some real kick!



I got to use it at a recent Oulton Park trackday, I was impressed by the power, my only gripe would be that it doesn't relay enough feedback through the steering, and it's far too eager to understeer making it all a bit dull at the limit.



Why do Vauxhall seem to be incapable of producing a real drivers FWD chassis???:rolleyes:
