We'll be in Ford Carlisle Invitational

Oh my God! Today I received a letter from Carlisle Productions formally inviting me to exhibit Moose (my Lincoln Mark VIII) at the All Ford Carlisle Invitational in Building T, June 3, 4, 5. That's where they show off the new concepts and several examples of Ford products over the years. This is a very exclusive place to show! Moose has won First in Class at Carlisle five years in a row so this is a big step up.

They first contacted me in the Fall asking for photos and a history. I sent them some pics and now Moose is in! The car will also be shown in the Carlisle catalog as well as in much of their publicity.

I'm not sure who is more excited, me or Moose!! :D
 
Yo, Moosie! Way to go! Hey, throw in a pic or two of Moose so we can get a good look!

Why is it a big step up when "it has won First in Class at CARLISLE 5 years in a row"?Isn't that the same thing?

I imagine the dust there ain't so bad inside the building. :D I've entered my truck in the Carlisle All Truck Nats and as with most car shows I walk around with the California Duster all day. Sounds like you might get lucky with that.

Oh get outta here! Moose is the same color (Toreador Red) as my 04 Grand Marquis! That car (yours, Leo) looks sweet!

I now have a glimpse of what MY paint will look like in 8 years (with proper detailing care, that is). Wow! Lookin' good, lookin' GOOD!
