Weekend Details: Lexus GS and BMW 325i

These were done with the following process:

1. Wash with Zaino Z-7 (GS) and Pinnacle (BMW)

2. Clayed car with Sonus Block

3. Light polish with SSR2.5

4. Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion

5. Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax

I am still working on the photos. I used the XAT Optimizer but had to really downrez too much to meet the low 300K limit. I'm looking for a heavy duty photo site. These are from 39MB Tiff files from a pro scanner. I will add links to more hirez versions soon.

More detail on Lexus GS...I have to do something about the resolution 300K is simply not doing my photos justice. Apologies...

You can convert the TIFF files to jpgs with XAT and keep good picture size and resolution.

The paint on the BMW still looks wet!

Thanks Scott. I will try the XAT. Maybe I'm doing it wrong...I have to cut the file down to about 20-25% resolution to get to 300K. Time to do some research.

I am also going to look for a high end photo hosting site.

Thanks for the compliments. I will post some more later. :)

Thanks fellow Autopians...I will add some more pics over the weekend. I want to link to a host with larger files. The image quality is not up to par since I had to compress them a bunch.

I tried the Detail City site last night three times but it would not upload my photos. I got some execution error. I think their Photohost software is on the blink.

When you compress them, just click the jpg dot, and it will move from TIFF and greatly reduce the file size. Every once in a while, Wolf Camera will screw up and put the images on my CDs as TIFF files instead of jpgs.
