weather woes

Here in the northeast we've had the rainiest spring I can ever remember. We'll surpass the rainfall record for the month of June before the weekend is out. Really putting a damper on business. I've had three cancellations in the last month or so due to weather.

As a part timer the weather problems are a bummer but not a killer. What do you full timers do when the weather doesn't cooperate for such a long time? Obviously having a shop is the key but even so seems people just don't want to pay to have their vehicle done when the forecast calls for rain the following three days.

Well, Natty, I am in the same situation, so I know exactly what you mean. I am in Western NY state, and it does nothing but rain here also. I have a three car garage to work in, but like you said, no one wants their car done if it's gonna rain for a week straight!

Anyone have God's number so I can call and request some decent weather?

Natty, spanish is spoken in Spain or Mexico. I live in Portugal where the Portuguese language comes from. Mixing them would be like saying you also speak Spanish.

About the job, well, you bet you'd have the vacation of your life if we went to Algarve (in the south) to detail for the Summer. Nobody there doing it and it's all Ferrari and MB and RRs.

My God is that beautiful! Oh yea, I could get used to that real quick. One thing....any good trout streams nearby? Ah nevermind, I'm sure theres plenty of good snapper to be found.
