Waxing with da polisher?

I have a three month old car and have cleaned, clayed, and waxed, making the car look great. Now, I'm curious if I should or would get better results waxing with a PC, Makita, or Flex DA polisher. My car has no swirls or any imperfections that warrant an abrassive polish, but haven't seen much info on machine waxing.

Thanks,

B

I personaly dont think you will necessarily get "better" result with a polisher vs doing it by hand. It all depends on what you like and how you want to do it. For my most of the time I apply my LSP by hand because I don't want to drag my polisher, cords, pads out to do it. But if I am polishing or using and AIO I will use my polisher to apply the LSP as well. It does make applying it faster but only when the polisher is a
Ready out for me. Hope this helps.

when waxing/ sealing a finish you are usually just spreading the lsp around for coverage and by hand is often faster/ easier but, using a da will definitely give you a thinner, more even coverage than by hand. (helpful when using some of the more expensive products)
like troy, it's easier for me to use my da for this if i already had it out for polishing first.

I apply most of my waxes and sealants using a dual action polisher.

Applying it with a dual action polisher allows you to apply the product much more uniformly and thinner using this approach. Thinner also means much less work with buffing and the possibility of imparting swirls and scratches...

I find I'm faster with the DA then by hand. usually i'll avoid the tight areas by machine. then once the majority is done I'll pull the pad off the DA and use that pad to do the tight areas by hand

I have gone to almost 100% LSP by machine. I am not sure it is a great time saver getting it down but it does help make it more uniform so easier buffing off by hand.

A lot depends on how you apply by hand. I have seen some that do one basic circular continuous motion but others will go back over the same area more than once.
